Your stay supports the efforts to defend and promote creative exploration. Chirripó Riverside Suites is owned and operated by the artists at Monte Azul Center for the Arts as a vehicle to finance the important work we do in contributing to the humanities.
Guests stay adjacent to the Monte Azul Art Gallery, which is converted into a lounge and lobby space during their visit. The elegant suites are designed for multi-purpose uses, from painting studio to luxury suite.

Every piece of talent and material has been sourced locally, with furnishings designed in-house and crafted by skilled artisans and craftspeople from the community.
We are especially grateful for the generous donation of architectural design by Andrés Cañas Barahona, a distinguished Monte Azul alumnus and award-winning architect, as well as to the many local craftspeople and providers whose talent, support, and hard work have made this vision a reality.
